About the Journal

Ege Scholar Journal (ESJ) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes original research and high-quality review papers in economics, business and management, and law and public policy. Within these core areas, ESJ welcomes contributions in accounting, finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, governance, and related domains, particularly where research informs socio-economic development, organisational practice, and public decision-making.

ESJ also considers research in arts, culture, and creative industries when it engages with economic, managerial, and policy perspectives, including cultural economics, arts management, creative industries, cultural governance, and regulatory frameworks for cultural and creative organisations.

The journal promotes critical and evidence-based scholarly debate by prioritising manuscripts with clear research questions, transparent and appropriate methodologies, and meaningful theoretical or practical contributions. ESJ welcomes quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods studies, as well as systematic literature reviews and meta-analyses.

ESJ publishes six issues per year and provides immediate open access to all published content under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license. To support discoverability and long-term access, the journal provides open metadata (OAI-PMH), RSS feeds, and digital archiving.
